Sorakaya Pappu in Pressure Cooker
Healthy and comforting bottle gourd dal cooked in a pressure cooker, perfect for everyday meals
Ingredients
- Soaked toor dal
- Bottle gourd (sorakaya)
- Water
- Turmeric powder
- Salt
- Green chilli paste
- Oil or ghee
- Mustard seeds
- Cumin seeds
- Garlic
- Curry leaves
Instructions
Add soaked toor dal bottle gourd turmeric and water to the pressure cooker.
Close the lid and cook for two whistles.
Open the cooker and add salt and green chilli paste.
Mix well.
Prepare tadka with oil or ghee mustard seeds cumin seeds garlic and curry leaves.
Pour the tadka over the dal.
Serve hot with rice or roti and enjoy.
