Simple Pressure Cooker Dal Curry
Fast and comforting dal curry made in a pressure cooker, perfect for busy days and served hot with papad
Ingredients
- Soaked dal
- Water
- Turmeric powder
- Chilli powder
- Salt
- Oil or ghee
- Mustard seeds
- Cumin seeds
- Dry red chillies
- Garlic
- Curry leaves
- Papad
Instructions
Add soaked dal and water to the pressure cooker.
Add turmeric powder and close the lid.
Cook for two whistles.
Open the cooker and add chilli powder and salt.
Add a little more water and mix well.
Prepare tadka with oil or ghee mustard seeds cumin seeds garlic dry red chillies and curry leaves.
Pour the tadka over the dal.
Serve hot with papad and enjoy.
